WEDNESDAY MEETINGS
At the core of Cal Queer & Asian are our weekly Wednesday meetings from 7:30 - 9:00 that alternate between socials and discussions to provide a good balance. There's no worries if you can't make the entire time -- feel free to drop in whenever for however long when you can! And remember, it doesn't just end at 9:00. We're almost always mingling and hanging out long after the meeting ends.

WORKSHOP SERIES
One of Cal Q&A's projects this year (09-10) is to have complementing, educational opportunities outside of our fortnightly discussions. We're pooling our resources to acquire presenters for these special Thursday workshops to further explore themes presented in our Wednesday meetings, and to have a smaller, more intimate space in which to have more in-depth discussions. Some of our previous presenters have included Shin Yi Tsai, a local psychologist specializing in queer youth and mental health, and Haruki Eda, an activist from SF State, specializing in queer men of color in pornography.
