Cal Q&A was founded a decade ago on the UC Berkeley campus as a student organization dedicated to the intersectionality of the queer and Asian identities.

Through weekly meetings and monthly events, Cal Q&A acts as a safe space, social group, and support network for any and every student on the UC Berkeley campus.

It is the largest club on campus that deals with the intersection of race and sexuality, and Cal Q&A works with many community organizations to strengthen both the Queer and Asian communities. Cal Q&A is also the host of the annual Queer & Asian Conference.

Cal Q&A is a safe social support group dedicated to Queer and/or Asia-Pacific Islander issues. Persons of ALL races, ethnicities, genders and sexualities are both welcome and encouraged to attend!

We have many discussions, socials, trips, and special events each semester with other cool lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, and Asian peeps, such as yourself!

Meetings: Q&A opens up the doors of the Queer Alliance and Resource Center in 305 Eshelman every Wednesday at 7:30 pm, but be sure to check our website for the calendar of events. If we don’t have an event on that Wednesday, feel free to drop by and hang out with us.
